We developed Docol Roll in response to the increasing utilisation of roll forming in the automotive, construction, electronics and furniture industries, making Docol Roll our contribution to improving the competitiveness of our customers.

Seat manufacturers and the automotive industry worldwide expressed a great deal of interest in Docol Roll even during the development phase. This material has been subjected to an extensive series of tests and adapted to the specific requirements of roll forming.

Docol Roll allows for tighter bending radii than do comparable steel grades of similar strength. The finished profiles have high dimensional stability and are well suited to welding. It is possible to create more complex constructions with Docol Roll. The improved bending characteristics are a result of the homogenous microstructure of Docol Roll. During roll forming, Docol Roll greatly reduces the springback demonstrated by the finished components.
